Emma Oude Groote Beverborg
Welcome
Hi,
I’m Emma, a UX Designer.
I design for complex products, while keeping business needs sharp and users close to my heart. I don’t settle for the first solution: I dig until I understand the real problem, then design something that actually solves it.

My approach
Every project starts with a kick-off with the product team, so we share the same goal from day one. Then I go to the people who have to live with the thing: I dig deeper and check with users whether the problem we’re solving is the real one. From there I sketch concepts, talk them through with the team and ask stakeholders for feedback early. I iterate and test with users again, because the first idea is rarely the best one, until the design is ready to ship.
What I'm looking for
A close-knit team with a shared goal, where working together feels good and there’s room for a laugh. I want to solve real problems that make users’ lives easier, make things that actually ship, and keep sharpening my craft along the way.
Personal
Sewing is really my thing. I am so into it that I am making my own wedding dress.
Volleyball never feels like sport, our team is far too much fun. Last season we won the league.
With my fiancé Reint.
My very cute rabbits Donna and Fernando, named after ABBA.
